Not a tree or building in sight…ok well maybe a hint of building iconography has crept into the logo design. But its subtle!
We incorporated a building silhouette (taken from the architecture of Gunn’s Mill) in the new logo created for the Forest of Dean Buildings Preservation Trust. The design was developed with a heritage feel to give the logo texture and depth in keeping with the listed buildings the Trust protects.
To give maximum flexibility of use we made sure it worked in colour and in just white.
Involvement in this project included concept design and logo design.
The Forest of Dean Buildings Preservation Trust has been formed to take on the ownership of historic monuments and buildings at risk in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley areas and to raise the funds to conserve them.
The objects of the Forest of Dean Buildings Preservation Trust are to preserve for the benefit of the people of the Forest of Dean District and of the Nation, the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may exist in and around the Forest of Dean District in its land and buildings (including any structure or erection, and any part of a building as so defined) of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest.FORESTO F DEAN BUILDINGS PRESERVATION TRUST WEBSITE
