Estate Agents use 'For Sale' & 'To Let' boards because they are an extremely effective marketing tool. It isn't just that show that your house is on the market - for the agent it is also about them advertising that it is them (and not one of their competitors) that is selling your house. The more boards they have up in their area the better they are seen to be doing, and so increases their chances that more people will list their homes for sale with them.

When we design a logo for a company that uses this type of marketing it is vital we consider right at the start how the new logo will work when applied to one of these boards.

This is an example of the For Sale boards created as part of our re-branding of independent estate agents Summers & Co. The contrast between the orange and dark green, the diagonals and the lime green in the design all help the sign stand out even of overcast and ray days.

Once sold the red panel is removed to reveal the sold portion of the sign.
