Images bring a design alive. But as not all our clients are able to provide quality images for use in a project, we decided we would look for cost effective ways of sourcing or creating fresh and exciting images instead. This had several outcomes:

1. Our in house photography skills are a cost effective approach to avoiding repetitive stock photography. We can shoot images of your actual products quickly and cheaply.

2. However, as not all stock photography is repetitive or expensive, we can and do recommend this as a swift way of finding that missing image for a newsletter or leaflet.

3. Another solution is to commission a photographer - and this doesn’t have to be massively expensive. Quite often a day of a professional photographer’s time at your offices will generate enough images for your website and a range of marketing literature, so the cost per image can work out cheaper than using a photo library.

4. Another approach is to look at existing images in a new light. Dull images can be lightened; square images can be extended to be made taller and/or wider. Experience has taught us the solution can often be staring you in the face.
